AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL Edo Period , (1700s) Japanese tsuba (samurai sword guard). Heian Jo O (big) Tsuba. It is in very good condition and has an excellent design to it with a fantastic brass inlay. If you look closely you can see some incredible detail on this fine old guard. It measures 8.4 cm x 8 cm and weighs 108 grams. Very good condition with some slight aging. It is a very nice antique piece from feudal era Japan. Please judge from the photos provided. Comes with wooden box.
