The Fifth Edition; with a large Index and the Addition of the Work necessary to be done in the Nursery in each Month. By Philip Miller, Gardener to the Worshipful Company of Apothecaries, at their Botanick Garden in Chelsea, and F. R. S. Printed in London in 1739 for C. Rivington, at the Bible and Crown in St. Paul's Church-yard. M.DCC.XXXIX (1739). It is bound in original full brown leather fine binding, with gilt border line decoration to the edges of boards, and also to the edges of spine panels/compartments, and of which there are five. There is an illustrated engraved frontispiece. Containing 333 pages plus index, with dimensions to the book of 8" x 5" x 1.3" thick, and it weighs 520g unpacked.
