The Gardeners Kalendar, by Philip Miller, Gardener to the Worshipful Company of Apothecaries, at their Botanick Garden in Chelsea, and F.R.S. Directing what works are neccessary to be done Every Month in the Kitchen, Fruit, and Pleasure Gardens, and in the Conservatory: with an Account of the particular Seasons for the Propagation and Use of all sorts of Esculent Plants and Fruits proper for the Table, and all sorts of Flowers, Plants and Trees, that Flower in every month. Fifth Edition, with a large index and an addition of the work neccessary to be done in the Nursery in each month. Printed for C. Rivington, London 1739. The book measures approx 7.75 x 5 inches and is hardbound with leather covered boards. Spine and covers worn and marked. Front cover detached. Corners bumped. Frontispiece partly detached along spine. The book contains; Frontispiece, Title Page Dedication and Preface. Old water stain to first few pages. Age browning to the pages. 333 pages plus index.
