Document dated "this second day of October in the Eighteenth year of his Majestie Rain over Great Britain 1744/5" Edward Shaw grants his land and valuables to his son Edward Junior. The document is difficult for me to read but here is some from the beginning:"Know all man boy thos presents that I Edward Shaw of Hampton in the province of New Hampshire New England ---- for and in consideration of the paternal love and affection that I have do--- awards my beloved son Edward Shaw Junior of Hampton --- said --- --- man now given and granted and boy those prosante to proo- --- by and absolutely give and grant unto my -- son Edward Shaw and unto his heirs and asigns for --- on hundred acres of land beginning at wo-- and of the anglo pond and so running upward --- --- --- lots with all the---for st--- or growing on said land and all privileges there unto belonging and --- --- I give unto my son Edward Shaw all my land in Hampton with all my buildings house and barns with all the valuables in the house and all..."Witnessed by Josiah Blake and one other who's name I can't read on the left.
