1755 Franco-American Beaver RARE Betts Listed Medal We have a rare beaver token struck during the French Indian War. Front: LUD XV REX CHRISTIANISS with a bust of Louis XV signed FM for Francois Marteau. Back: NON VILIUS AUREO with a beaver pelt hanging from the mast and COL FRANC DE LAM 1755 meaning French Colonies in America. I've had a number of this issue in the past, but they were all well circulated showing little or no beaver detail. This one, however, is in high grade with lots of details left to be enjoyed. This is the ORIGINAL strike that measures 28mm with the edge being 1mm thick. Color is nice choco brown. Very tough to find in nice condition! SALES TAX : For shipment within New York State, 8% sales tax will be added to invoice, unless the buyer has a resale certificate with filled-in ST-120 form. We would need to have a jpg image of it sent by email. There are no exceptions.
