"A Complete History of England", by T. Smollett, published in London, from 1758 to 1762. Volumes 1-15. Size: Each book measures approx 8" x 5.5", (20 cm x 14 cm). Description: This amazing set of leather bound books has 217 copper plate engravings showing portraits of figures in English History and seven maps including a very important North America map showing the recent British aquisitions after the French and Indian Wars. The portraits and the history cover the period from 1105 to 1762. T are about 6000 pages of text. The last volumes are a continuation from 1748 to 1762 and include a contemporary account of the French and Indian wars in North America. The map of England is loose. Two of the bindings are loose.The volumes are dated between 1758 and 1762. Shipping: Buyer to pay postage.
