1766 Pitt Halfpenny Token. Fine. This example is well centered with the date and all legends basically upon the planchet, both on the obverse and reverse. T is small deep hit or gouge at the front base of Pitt's bust, with a corresponding flat punch located on the opposite side at the top flag. This medium chestnut coin is fairly clean and evenly worn for the grade. An affordable example of this very popular, major Colonial type.
