1768 Holy Bible & Book of Common Prayer, Mark Baskett, Church of England Beautiful Quarto sized Holy Bible and Book of Common Prayer published by Mark Baskett: "The Holy Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments newly translated out of the original tongues: and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by his Majesty's special command, Appointed to be read in Churches. London: Printed by Mark Baskett, Printer to the King's most Excellent Majesty; and by the Assigns of Robert Baskett" Includes: "The Book of Common Prayer, and administration of the Sacrements, and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, According to the use of the Church of England: Together with the Psalter and Psalms of David, pointed as they are to be Said and Sung in Churches." A Beautiful copy with some rubbing and wear to covers and ridged spine, some damp stains to the corner of some pages, and a wonderful inscription from the original owner (dated 1771) on the endpage.
