Cover leather scuffed and cracked. Corners bumped. Size 8½" x 5½". The texts are laid out in 2 columns with marginal references at each edge. Unpaginated. Age toning throughout. Missing frontispiece page of Old Testament. Frontispiece page of New Testament has large chip. Birth, death and marriage records in periord ink at the back of the title page of the New Testament and on an additional half page. Contains genealogical information of 4th-8th generation descendants of Pilgrim John Alden: Captain James Doten was born on 27 Aug 1732 in Plymouth, Plymouth, MA. Died July 25th, 1786. Bathsheba Delano DOTEN died about 22 Sep 1785. She was married to James Doten. JOSEPH DOTEN married ELIZABETH ALDEN, 1794; Bathsheba Doten born 1795, BATHSHEBA HOLMES born 1813; The family members lived in Duxbury and Plymouth, Massachusetts.
