1770's Military Cartridge Box This item is a repro cartridge box, it is used in excellent condition. The wood block will hold 27 cartridges, it has an inside linen flap, painted black, that is attached to the wooden block that can be removed from the case. The outside case is leather, hand stiched with a pewter button closure. The shoulder strap is approximately 60 inches long at its longest and can be adjusted down 10 inches. Brass buckles are provided for adjusting the shoulder strap. I have included a wisk brush and touchhole pin for quick field cleaning of your bess. T is also a three way tool attached by a leather cord, this tool can be used to make adjustments to the clamp holding the flint. T is even more, a flint wallet, made of deerskin and holding 6 flints (included). This type of box was used by both Crown and Rebel forces.
