This Revolutionary War era letter with folded cover dated August 6, 1783 was sent by Elizabeth Pond of Wrentham, Massachusetts to her sister Catherine Gould in Sharon, Massachusetts. The one page letter is written in ink on laid paper with a very interesting watermark (see last two pictures). The letter has some tears on the folds and some minor foxing but is in overall good condition! NO RESERVE!
