The group includes the following: Folded letter to attorneys Wren and Airey of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a petition to Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain Thurlow on begalf of petitioners of bankrupt, includes reply of another party. Folded letter with rare Bishop's mark postage stamp. Folded in Very Good condition. 8 x 12.5" ledger of two pages of expenses of the bankruptcy including auction fees, Fine 8 x 12.5" ledger of two pages with expenses of the bankrupt including an attached embossed revenue stamp receipt. Fine. Copy of the Order of Lord High Chancellor Thurlow regarding the dispensation of the bankruptcy petition (mentioned above), two pages, signed "Thurlow" secretarially. Measures 10 x 15". Fine.
