It may or may not be one of the real most sought after coins in history. I cannot determine that myself. I do know, that it is an extraordinary piece to add to your collection, and maybe, hold a significant value after all of the research I have done on this coin. I hope you find great satisfaction in your ownership of this piece. After careful research of this coin, I am asking this high price due to it's rarity and extraordinary history. Please, keep in mind that I have shown this coin to dealers and they all tell me to keep it in hand because they cannot put a value on it and that I MAY have something very valuable. I want this coin to be owned by someone that has a passion for these collections, as I am not a collector and have more use of its value, rather than its history. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions. Thank you for looking at this piece.
This is a 1787 Brasher Doubloon coin. I am UNSURE of its authenticity and material used to make it. I cannot guarantee that it is authentic, as it has not been appraised. It was passed down to me from my Step-Father, which was passed to him from his mother and so on.. It is in used condition, but a very interesting and rare piece to add to your collection.
