1787 Fugio Cent
Newman 7-T Variety This is circa 1787

This coin measures about 1 & 1/8 inches in diameter an weighs about 11 & 1/2 grams. I believe it is the Newman 7-T variety, but I am not an expert, so please do your own research to confirm that. The condition is good, and it has a very dark patina. T is no documentation or certificate of authenticity on this one, so please look carefully at the greatly enlarged pictures to judge condition and authenticity for yourself. I am confident this is a genuine vintage Fugio cent and I will personally guarantee it for 15 days from buyer receipt of the coin.

We try to examine items carefully and will describe all defects of significance we find. It is up to the potential bidder to obtain information in addition to the auction description, to determine an item's value and/or authenticity. Please email us and ask questions about an item that you feel needs more description before bidding, especially if you intend to bid above the original minimum bid. We will do our best to provide the potential bidder with all the information we have or re- examine an item if more description is needed. Please ask questions early in the auction. Email questions asked during the last two days of auction may not be answered if we are not available. We reserve the right to insure items independently and may not use the U.S. Postal Service insurance.
