September 1790 letter from William Donnison, the Adjutant General of the Massachusetts militia in Boston to General Nathaniel Goodwin (1749 - 1819) at Plymouth.Donnison writes that t are illiterate officers spending half the day taking and recording the roll. Donnison proposes using a book with forms. I do not have paypal.
