Rectangular shaped Old Sheffield Plate toasted cheese warmer has four ball feet, gadrooned edge and six small removable pans inside; it has a hinged domed lid and at the rear, set in a ferrule, is a long projecting straight handle made of wood. Extending from the ball finial on the lid to a hook on the ferrule is short chain.
