1792 NORWICH NORFOLK England NGC MS64 Tradesman's or CONDOR Token, GREAT BRITAIN This is a beautiful Near Gem, Brilliant Uncirculated Halfpenny “Tradesman's or Condor” Token from the City of Norwich in Norfolk County, England. It is dated 1792, and was struck for a John Harvey of Norwich. In researching this I found that there was a John Harvey of Thorpe who lived in and was the Mayor of Norwich in 1792. He was born May 5, 1755 and died on February 9, 1842. This could very well have been struck for his business.
