Experiments in Animal Electricity, with their Application to Physiology and Some Pathological and Medical Observations. Printed by J. Johnson, St. Paul's Church-yard, London 1793. Sm 8 vo, 323 pp + Errata. (Valli was the Corresponding member of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Turin). Overall, a tight, clean, complete copy. Some heavy foxing on the title, preface and end pp, but most of the book is fairly bright and clean w/no real defects. Bound in an older buckram binding with another book: FOWLER (Richard ). Experiments and Observations Relative to the Influence Lately Discovered by M. Galvani, and commonly called Animal Electricity . Edinburgh, Printed for T. Duncan, P. Hill, Robertson & Berry and G Mudie; and J. Johnson St. Paul's Church-Yard, London 1793. Small 8vo, 176 pp. Overall, a tight clean copy. Has a large stain on the margin of the title and first few pgs, but text ok. A few random pgs are heavily foxed, but overall the book is surprisingly bright white and clean. Fine copies. (2 titles) Both books are bound together into one volume, and is an ideal volume to have expertly rebound. Top edge papers are dusty; the side edge papers are clean w/marbled paper, and the bottom edge papers stamped w/owner's stamp, that read more
