You are bidding on an 1797 DRAPED BUST DOLLAR WITH SMALL EAGLE and 10 x 6 stars. The coin was professionally sealed and graded as VF-30 by the PCGS. The coin you see is the coin you will receive.Among early silver dollars, the Draped Bust obverse combined with the Small Eagle reverse is the scarcest type and among the four dates, 1795-1798, the 1797 is the lowest mintage. The 10 stars to the left of LIBERTY and 6 to the right is a design unique to this variety in the entire dollar series. This star arrangement is not seen on any other early Silver Dollar. The unique star arrangement on the obverse makes this variety in demand by both type and die variety collectors. The fields show plenty of flashy luster and the outer details are quite sharp. A charming example of this interesting variety. Current Price Guide in VF-30: Numismedia PCGS Price Numismedia Retail Guide Wholesale $7,250 $6,500 $5,800
