- A British, private, local postal issue from Staffa, Scotland in partnership with The Gold Collection Limited of West Redding, Connecticut - In £8.00 Denominations, Eighteen, 22K Gold Stamps,Commemorating AMERICA'S GOLDEN EAGLESThis is the complete set in the original album. The album, 8 1/4" X 7 1/2", does have a minor scratch on the cover and one corner of the inner cover is peeled up just a bit. On the back cover, there is a mark, 3" to 4" lines in an ell shape. Also, the original, sole owner stuck an envelope on the inside the back cover (I mean moistened and glued the flap to it) to hold the payment receipts and the certificate of authenticity . Those receipts show, that between 1980 and 1982, the owner paid $21.00 for each of the 18 stamps.Because the inner pages are all within protective plastic sleeves, you may see some effects from the flash in the photos, but the approximately 3" x 1 3/4" stamps, and the roughly 5" x 7" information pages are all in perfect condition. Please do have a good look at the photos if you are interested. ... and thank you! Please note:
