18" KITTY COLLIER TONNER AS SCARLETT O'HARA from "GONE WITH THE WIND"Robert Tonner's Kitty Collier as Scarlett O"Hara is one of his finest, most beautiful examples of this doll series.. From her lusturous dark sausage curls, to her perfect makeup, wonderful green velvet gown fashioned from her mother's Portieres, Scarlett is the epitome of every fine young woman who lived through the terrible dark days of the Civil War. From the spoiled darling daughter of a wealthy planation owner, Scarlett finds a way to maintain her spirit and love of fashion by cutting up and refashioning her mother's draperies..to inpress Captain Rhett Butler, of course.:) On her feet, Scarlett wears the most perfectly detailed faux black leather high heeled boots. Creamy lace trimmed pantaloons, and matching hoop skirt underneath her amazing gown are authentic to the 1860's period. Her gold fringe trimmed hat sits at a jaunty angle, perfectly accentuating those flashing green eyes. Tiny 'diamond' and gold earrings grace her ears. A matching green velvet drawstring handbag completes her amazing ensemble. This doll is no longer manufactured, and is becoming more elusive and rarely offered for sale. I am her original and only adult collector/owner. she has never been undressed nor played with. Scarlett/Kitty has been briefly displayed in my dark glass curio cabinet read more
