MINICHAMPS 1/18 Porsche 956 MARLBORO 1983 Lemans 24hr 6th place Professional Conversion FINISHLINE Longtail AND Shortail #8 Stefan Johanssen/ Klaus Ludwig/ Bob Wollek Youre bidding on a 1/18 scale Minichamps Porsche 956 #8 as raced to a sixth place finish in the 1983 Lemans 24hr race. Has authentic and correctly place Marlboro livery professionally added by a well known modeler. The livery is made of vinyl graphics and last a lifetime unlike decals. They are slightly thicker but as you can see in photos very realistic and no significant difference. This started off as the stars and stripes car and was completly stripped and repainted in authentic colors by a professional. NO orange peel and paint is PERFECT and also the perfect colors. Pictures do not do flourescent paint justice but looks just like race pictures. Also model is weathered to look as it did when it crossed the finish line. Not overly done as some modellers seem to do. VERY REALISTIC! Has authentic colored duct tape simulating the repairs made during the race. Only one headlight is taped as the tape on the other lens had blown off during race. Model is in perfect condition and has all original packaging including the 3 holders and 3 screws to hold model into styrofoam clamshell. Box is perfect as well (not pictured).
