Offered with no reserve is this mid 19th century Gaudy Welch Ironestone China Plate. This BEAUTY measures 8-1/4" in diameter with having a 12 sided pattern. It's signed in rust paint as "2" . The flowers are done in a rust color. The blue is heavy and even shows on the backside. We aren't sure the name for this pattern but it will definitely add a plus to your collection. I have never come across one as nice as this. The only wear or damage is a flea bite the size of a pin head located on the one petal of a flower and a worn spot on the inner edge of the plate w one of the green painted leaves are located, about 1/4 of an inch long. Also the glaze shows some crazing. Feel free to ask any questions.
