We are Located within 15 minutes from Adamstown Pa one of the Largest Antique shopping areas in the Eastern USA. Pickup your purchase and make it a day or weekend of Antique Shopping. This auction offers you the opportunity to bid on a very old antique Mid to Late 1800s Empire Style Tiger Oak Veneer Writing Desk with Book cases. This unusual desk measures 65 1/2 inches tall by 38 inches wide and 14 inches deep at the top. It is in the Empire design with the curved styling down both sides to the feet. It has an upper and lower set of doors with a removable shelf in the upper and lower sections. T are storage cubbies and 3 drawers inside the lid. It is a very stunning piece. Sometimes wood type is hard to identify on old pieces because of old finishes, etc. We try to describe to the best of our knowledge and ability, We are experienced, but not experts in identifying wood types, and may or may not be correct in identifying actual wood types on some items. We can provide contact information for shippers that we work with that will be anxious to quote shipping for you. Please provide the auction item number to the shipper.
