This lot consists of a pair of beaded buckskin? indian gloves, satin?- lined, and a pair of unlined buckskin beaded indian mocassins. The oral historry is that they were made by the owners great-great grandmother who was a full-blooded Cherokee. She died an old woman in 1919 so these gloves and shoes are most likely late 1800's vintage. I measured the mocassins and they are about 9 inches long, heel to toe. They have wear and one is darker than the other but the flower beadwork is tight. THe gloves are satin?-lined, measure about 13 inches long and have tight beadwork. The buckskin on all pieces is relatively soft and i have not tried to clean any of the pieces. Nice display pieces!! Cheap opening bid!!!I do not do e-bay check -out!!!!!!!!!!
