Wonderful vintage circa late 1800s Blue & White Spongeware 8-7/8" stoneware pitcher. It has excellent dark blue sponging . The pitcher is in Excellent Original Condition - near mint with the exception of 2 slithering small chips. One is on the outer spout area and the other on the inside rim close to the handle vacinity. I have multiple pics of them-showing different angles of the same area and a few closeups as well. T are no other damages - no chips,cracks,repairs,etc. The pitcher is just beautiful -the pattern is symetrical and the sponge decoration has deep blue coloring! BID WITH CONFIDENCE!!! Cell Vic.
