This is a super nice green, squat, smooth based soda bottle from around the 1860's. The embossing reads: CHAS. H, UMBACK & CO. SAVANNAH GEO. on one side and on the other side it has a wonderful embossed spread winged Eagle standing on a Shield with a flag on each side of the shield. T are small lines in an arch over the Eagle. The bottle is clean. It has no chips or cracks. T is a very small indented pot-stone on the top side of the lip. Was done in the making. You can see the glass is part way over it. Please view photos. Super nice applied top and a few air bubbles. A nice embossed Eagle soda. The bottle stands 7 & 1/2 inches tall. If you collect early embossed Soda Water bottles, embossed Eagle Soda Waters, bottles from SAVANNAH or GA / GEO. / GEORGIA related items or items from the Chas. H. Umbach Company then you might like this for your collection. I have a low starting bid on this item with NO RESERVE !!! So have fun bidding.
