I am selling this authentic 1800's German Bavarian Military Carl Eickhorn Sword. This sword blade is in extremely good condition, it has a gorgeous blue steal patina look to it. You can see that this sword has been well cared for in it's life. The point tip has some minor staining around it and this could be blood staining. I have personally kept this blade well oiled and you can actually smell the oil when the blade is removed from the sheath. T is a single blood grove that runs down 75% of the blade. The Carl Eickhorn & Rabit trade mark is stamped beautifully into the blade. Blade Length: 76cm or 29.92 inches long Blade Thickness: 10mm The sheath is a single ringed scabbard has a silver polished finish. However t are some areas w the polish has faded or flacked to the steel. The scabbard also has a small looped opening on the interior of the sheath to hang a sash or rope ball. The scabbard also has a number 8 stamped into the hilt. Scabbard Length: 80cm or 31.50 inches long The hand guard and grip are original and have never been altered or replaced. The hand guard bares the serial number F454. Hand Guard Measures: 13cm x 13cm or 5.12 inches x 51.12 inches Total Length: 92cm or 36.22 inches long Overall I would personal rate this sword a 9 out of 10 on the condition scale. This sword has a lifetime guarantee of authenticity.
