This is a remarkable collectable Limoges china bowl, measures 8-3/8"W x 3-1/4"H. The hand painted detail is a raspberry and ivy design with a pale green bottom and gold floral and ivy detail around the rim. This bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches with minimal ware on the gold rim from age. I have been collecting Limoges for over a decade and believe that this piece is from Tresseman & Vogt Company (T&V). The company started in the 1850's and did not put company markings on their china until the 1880's. As you can see from the reference book "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain" the coloring and style is unique to T&V decorative china, if you would like to research the pages in photos they are p.331-332. The book price is between $350-$1800! I also have a floral vase listed with a different pattern, but was purchased together at the same auction and believed to be 1800's T&V as well.
