A beautiful antique 1800s paper mache black lacquer chinoisserie string box. Wonderful figures and scenes in gilt gold and painted faces, pagoda, trees, lovely kimonos all on a black lacquered paper mache. Hole in the top for the string. No chips or cracks. Gilt and painte in nice condition. A great addition to your sewing collection or box collection, just like in Veranda! 3 1/2" diameter, 3" high. Please e-mail with questions.
