I am relisting this table with new pictures. They are more detailed in telling the story. This is an original early 1800s Pennsylvania Amish sawbuck farm table. The chairs are not included in the sale. This is a wonderful historic treasure of Lancaster/Chester counties PA. All original finish with hand hewn boards of random widths the table is a great example of early life in Pennsylvania. A soft patina surrounds the beautiful old nails on the table-top surface. Turned wooden pins secure the top to the cross bar on the base which also has a square peg that tightens up the cross legs for stability. A stretcher bar balances out the legs of the table. The size is 38” wide by 68” long and it’s 30” high. Buyer responsible to pick-up locally or make arrangements for shipping.
