Fresh from a historical Albany, NY, estate is this early (circa mid 1800s) Staffordshire Pink Lustre Sunderland ship's plaque with center ship design, "Victoria and Albert Yacht." Plaque is approximately 9" long, 8" wide, in remarkable condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Two holes (made by manufacturer) for ribbon to use as wall hanging. Brown glaze border has a few very tiny surface flicks at the corners, so small they're difficult to see, otherwise fine. Selling this beauitful piece SATISFACTION GUARANTEED (see policy below) at a low opening bid with no reserve. INSURANCE will be required for this item. Check out my other auctions as I have 13 other wonderful early pink and copper lustre pieces currently running (see last photo) on Ebay. However, only the ship plaque is being sold in this auction. It ends up being about a 4 lb. box. The plaque itself almost weighs 2 lbs., and I'll want to protect it with a heavy box and lots of bubble. International Priority Air Mail for a 4 lb. box (no insurance) is approximately $36. Insurance is $2.30 for first $100, and $1.30 for each hundred after that. I will not add any handling fees to help make up a little for the greedy US Post Office! Unfortunately, recently the Post Office has stopped offering all of its less expensive international mailing services, sorry about that. Hopes this helps! Crisse
