1800's primitive Clay WATER JUG antique pottery

This old jug is in great condition. It has two small chips. One on the front and side.. This type of jug was all hand made and dates from the mid to late 1800's. Very Primitive. It was thrown on a wheel, not made from a mold and the handle was hand fashioned, as was the spout. Looks like t is a fingerprint in the handle (very cool) . Very Heavy. The jug is about 8" in height and about 6 1/2" in diameter across the base. 5 1/2 x 5 pour opening. Chips are 5/16th" Awesome addition to any primitive pottery collection.
