Please be sure to check out our Condition Description.ITEM: Antique (4) piece set of hand painted transfer Royal Vienna portrait plates with matching compote all with scalloped rim edge and heavy gold accents and all signed Kaufmann, as pictured. The portraits are all classically themed with heavy gold highlights and include The Toilet of Venus. The other scenes include cherubs, angels in other Classical scenes. All pieces are marked with the Royal Vienna blus beehive mark, as pictured.WHEN MADE: Late 1800sSIZE: The compote is approximately 8 1/4" across x 3" tall. Each plate is 8 1/2" across.CONDITION: (2) of the plates and the compote are free of damage with minor cosmetic wear. (1) plate has a small chip repair on the backside.
