Beautiful c1860s? large format salt-print photograph of a beautiful view overlooking Taormina,Italy titled " Main road from Giardini to Taormina" taken by Crupi with his ink stamp on the reverse .The snow capped mountains are miles in the distance while the town is visible on the coastline down to the left below. Photograph measures 8 3/4 " x 6 1/8 " -total size with borders is 8" x 10" .On one thin sheet of paper Good-very good condition with lovely soft tones.Tiny specks in sky that are not visble from normal viewing distance.Bit light but as made I believe. Will look great matted and framed !
