This listing is for a STUNNING 1803 Bust Half in an ANACS VF-35 holder, cleaned. The holder says cleaned, but the coin is not cleaned by any means. ANACS completely messed up up on this coin. The coin has completely original surfaces, no hairlines what so ever, no indication of ever being dipped, not even a shine on the high points of the coin.. When you go to the heritage achieves and search all the PCGS, NGC and ANACS VF-30's VF-35's and most of the XF-40's,,, this coin blows them away... This coin exhibits light wear with all major features still sharp, t is some ultra tiny ticks on the rims which are absolutely consistent with any circulated grade. The coin has a pleasant original gray toning and in the sunlight some original mint luster in the fields showing underneath the toning. This coin compares right up with most of the Certified XF-40 example in the Heritage achieves and above most of them in color and originality...
