An amazing American rarity. This 200 year-old, full leather binding is in super nice & tight condition. Every page is clear & easy to read. The book has 264 pages wtih no rips, tears, or distractions of any kind. On the 1st blank page is beautiful script signature for M. Kinsley. Below the signature in smaller size is Montague and the date 17th February, 1816. This may have been a gift to someone in Montague, MA. The front page shows that the book contains: The Adminstration of Sacraments and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Church, together with the Psalter on Psalms of David, New York, Printed for Campbell and Mitchell, 124 Pearl Street. This was probably a book store in New Bedford, MA which is home to the famous Pearl Street RR station. If you demand only the rarest of religious artifacts, this book is a must have. Unfortunately, I have no info about the family who owned the book or w they lived. It appears t was never any gold leaf lettering or anything else on binding. Any questions will get a prompt response. This book will be mailed fully insured.
