Nice Two Volume Set in Original Bindings Illustrated with Engraved Title, Frontis, and One Plate The Remains of Henry Kirke White, Of Nottingham, Late of St. John's College, Cambridge; With an Account of His Life By Robert Southey London: Printed for Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, and Brown, Paternoster Row, 1813. ******************** Octavos. 376, 316 pages. Bound in the original half calf with brown paper-covrered boards. The bindings are moderately bumped and worn but are still quite sound. Hinges holding, and the text blocks are secure. T is some damping in the lower and upper gutters of Volume I and some foxing in both volumes. Volume One has a copper engraved title page, frontis, and one other full-page copper plate engraving. Both volumes have "Southall" written in an early hand at the tops of the title pages. A nice sound set of early 19th century English poetry and literature.
