This is an original leather covered Bible published in Philadelphia in 1814 by M. Carey. The Bible includes the Apocrypha, an index and tables of scripture weights, measures and coins and other references. Between the old testament and the Apocrypha are the family pages with entries in ink, some of which are too faded to read accurately. We will attempt to transcribe below. Crittenden Born August 19th, 1803 Cotton Crittenden Died August 11th, 1789? Samuel Crittenden was Born Feb. 1734 and died May 31st, Aged 82 Years, 4 months, 1816 Stolham Crittenden was born Jan. 12th, 1795 and died April 12th, aged 29 Years 3 mon. 1824 Cotton Crittenden Born Sept. 10th, 1790 and died on November the 23 aged 44 years 2 mo. Ephraime Field died Dec. the 18th 1834 aged ninety five years, six months and five day. Oris Crittendon (under births) Lida Crittenden departed this life Dec. 8th, 1834, aged 78 years 4 months
