Up for auction here is a beautiful antique mantel clock. The New Haven Clock Company of New Haven, Connecticut is the maker. The sticker on the underside of this wooden clock is dated 1817 and has labeled the clock HARMONIOUS.This clock is an 8 day clock and it is in working condition which is amazing for its age. It chimes beautifully on the hour and then again a single chime on the half hour. Clock is complete including its key. The clock looks to be mahogany in its wood color. Please observe photos however for your own assessment. Clock has a very nice face and a neat little back door. The clock is very good looking and just needs a dusting and clean-up to look like a phenomenal antique timepiece! There is a surface age crack on the left side on the top. This doesn't detract from the overall beauty of the clock but mentioning for accuracy (see the final photo). This 1817 New Haven mantel clock measures about 19 3/4" long x 9 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" deep. If you have any questions, please email me. Thanks for looking! If you are the winner of this auction, please wait for my invoice before you pay.
