We are very pleased to present this spectacular selection from the "CL Collection" of US Large cents, 1816-1857. This is a collection formed over several years by a collector with a critical eye sharply focused on a combination of high grade and superb surface quality. We will be selling these wonderful coins over the next few months right here on ebay. Keep an eye out for our offerings! 1819/8 N.1 Large cent, PCGS graded AU-55. Though there are some weird reflections off the slab in the pictures that make the color look a tad off, this is a magnificent coin. It is a very early die state, fully-struck and semi-prooflike. The luster is intense, and there is just a blush of subtle blue and gold toning. The color is much more pleasing and consistent than I could possibly capture in the pics. As with all of the coins from this splendid collection, this one was selected for it's outstanding surface quality and eye appeal - and this very special coin will not disappoint you - even a little!
