These handsome Old Sheffield Plate candlesticks were marked Matthew Boulton in Birmingham, England ca. 1820. Both candlesticks have their original bobeche. Copper showing through on the gadrooned borders gives the finish on the candlesticks a warm patina. Another fine antique offered by Chancery Lane Antiques for $950.00.
