Exceptional Painted Butter Churn Best Blue Paint! Circa. 1830’s character of the Churn This is an exceptional and true 1830’s painted butter churn of which is constructed with the very desired inter twined wood bands. Very classic of the circa. Rosebud head nails attach the top wood band. The churn boast the best blue painted surface we have seen. The paint is dry and original and old!! The lid to the churn is original and hand caved and planed top and does retain the original dasher. The churn is still tight in construction and boast some of the best staved planked sides seen. Exceptional piece!
