1831 B.4 Small Letter reverse Capped Bust quarter graded VF-20 by PCGS. A very original, very pleasing coin with lovely, crusty deep gray toning and great surfaces. What more could one hope to find at this grade level? PLEASE NOTE: estatecoinsales is now DavidKahnRareCoins. Same great coins, same great service. In fact, everything is the same but the name! If you haven't already, please check out both of the great books on the Bust quarter series. Steve Tompkins' wonderful effort has been out for a little while, but the excellent book published by Rory Rea, et al is also well worth your attention. Both are monumental works, and - though they cover the same subject - they are actually quite different. Both have places of honor in my library, and I strongly suggest that both deserve a similar place in yours. Please Google either for ordering info.
