1833 N-5 R1 Repunched 8 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous medium steel brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. There are some very tiny specks of darker toning sprinkled over the obverse fields, but they are not visible to the unaided eye. A faint hairline scratch in the field from under the chin to near star 2 is the only notable sign of contact. LDS. The repunching on the 8 remains clear but the repunching in the dentils under that 8 is gone. The reverse is rotated 30 degrees CW. Our grade is AU58. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 1 finer in 64.
