1834 Primitive Antique Round Wooden Cheese Box 9"x 4" This is an antique primitive round wooden cheese box from a recent estate sale. The box measures almost 9 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height and has a lid which fits quite snugly. It shows a little wear and some faint stains but has a charming old country appeal. On the underside of the lid the date '1834' has been written twice, once in old fashioned script. T is faint writing, as well, but I can't make out what it says.
