1836 $2.5 Gold Quarter Eagle Classic Head All of the coins up for auction this week are from my life time collection of 35 years. Here is a very nice $2.5 gold eagle with the classic head. Scanned at 200% for you to judge its condition. I accept PayPal or Echecks. I mail on Mondays via the USPS priority mail flat rate box w/delivery confirmation at $5.85. Echecks will have to clear prior to shipping. I mail to the lower 48 states and no over seas shipping. Alaska and Hawaii $1 extra. Thanks for looking... I have had a lot of questions regarding my coins and here is what I have to offer in response: These coins have been in my possession for 35 years and some a little longer. I collected these coins while traveling during my career in the military. All of these coins where purchased around the United States as I traveled. They are what they appear to be. If they were cleaned prior to me, I have no idea. I know better than to clean a coin. If you are unsure as to its authenticity then please, by all means, do not bid. I am a moderate collector like some of you. I purchased the coins from reputable coin shops from around the country. My wife and I are now retired and are contemplating a move to the beach somewhere.
