Coronet : Large Cent : Matron Modified 1837: Description: Obverse: Inner rims are complete but are thin in areas around the circumference. Primary lines can be seen above the forehead (very limited) moving towards the ear. Primary and secondary hair detail can be seen with detail around the ear and down the neck. Some scattered detail behind the head band and around the bun is noticeable. Secondary detail is pronounced around the eyes, nose and mouth. Nice detail is seen within and around the perimeter of the ear. Date is bold with all numbers full in form while stars are pronounced in shape. LIBERTY is complete with sharpness, relief and form per letter. Reverse: Inner rims are complete but lack detail and depth. Wreath primary outline is distinctive with secondary detail , within the leafs, located near the outer margins. Subdivisions vary in sharpness, lenght and relief when present. Bow shows secondary detail in terms of the in folds giving it a 3d look. All lettering, parallel to the rims and at the center of the coin, is pronounced and complete in form.
