This set is definitely the most prestigious and greatquality one I have ever seen. The implements of this Museum set which youcan find once in a lifetime is so beautiful that it is really Breathtaking and I donot try to just use words....
The provenance first is royal : it was owned by a Countess as you can see by the gold crown presented on the top lid of the etui with the initials "B.Y." - The wonderful Moroccan leather of the box is precious and lovely - The inside is purple velvet and silk - it comes from the reknown Palais Royal Quarter of Paris w the best quality pieces were displayed and sold at the 19th Century - the shop is "CH. FONTANA & CIE" PALAIS ROYAL 96 to 98 - PARIS. Now the fabulous implements - total of four matching of course - in 18K solid gold - very heavy and perfect with no damage and no repair at all. The shape and the design are splendid in the empire style - great research into each tiny detail. I tried to take many pictures to let you see the details which are so exquisite - all hand chiselled. No words for me to describe such beauty to own and treasure . It's Royal provenance is a sign of first standard quality - t can make a very precious gift. This set wasmade during the first part of the 19th Century - and from the great FONTANA shop - The set is comprising a needle - a thimble -a needle case and a pair of scissors. No doubt you will see the luxury of these pieces made of red and yellow gold so finely detailed and so finely ornate - they are gorgeous ! This very rare box is in such exceptional condition that it was probably never used. T are no initials on the pieces. The thimble is perfect - the scissors are sharp and have no rust. I guarantee this set to be exactly as described It is well worth my reserve. I shall be pleased to answer any question. Size of the box : 5" 1/2 x 3" (14 x 7,5cms ) - The weight of the five implements is 32grms = 1,2oz Buyer will pay $35 for shipment by priority registered airmail including full insurance for the value.
