Very sweet piece. Most probably was used for sewing or Neccesaire implements. They are not included. Approx. 1 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches with flip top lid and interior with 2 compartments.Both sides are decorated with inlaid silver garland and floral. Does have small small chips to surface. Lid front and back and a small one to lower box. Still a wonderful look and priced right. Purchased from France with proper Cites permits and I hold a Federal fish and Wildlife license which permits me to import and export antique tortoise shell Shipping to US Payment due within 7 days
